Okay, so I officially survived fall break. Mr. D drove me slightly bonkers, but we got to spend a lot of time together, which was nice too. Mikia had a sleepover approximately 99% of the break, either here or at someone else’s house, and Buddy was quite content blobbing out in front of his computer all week. I estimate they ate about a month’s salary in groceries just being home all week.
I woke up in a fog this morning, so I didn’t have much time to plan this out, but Mr. D was happy with the result. We’ll see if he eats the apples, which I dunked in salt water this time.
He told me this morning he hates wasting apples, and I admit I almost bust laughed at him right there, since I don’t think he’s eaten any apples I’ve sent him yet. Apparently if there’s a millimeter of brown on any of them, they’re immediately rotten.
I used cheddar for the pumpkins instead of a Kraft slice, since the cheese is a darker orange. I used my Carla Craft cat punch for the triangles, though those are easy enough to cut freehand. I was too lazy to cut mini jack mouths, so I just used regular smilies.
I’m hoping to have leftovers to pack this week to make things simpler the rest of the week!
